"Yandex Music" now on Samsung Galaxy Watch
The Yandex team has released a standalone "Yandex Music" application for Samsung Galaxy Watch smartwatches running on the Wear OS platform. This application operates independently, without requiring a smartphone connection, and is fully controlled via the smartwatch.
The application supports core "Yandex Music" functionalities, including the ability to launch "My Wave," like tracks, add them to one's collection, and activate sports-oriented recommendation system settings ("Running" and "Workout").
The main screen provides quick access to the current track and player. Below these are elements for swift navigation to downloaded content and the user's collection. The collection section mirrors the mobile version's layout, allowing access to albums, artists, podcasts, audiobooks, and the "Liked" playlist. A dedicated "Downloaded" section is available for offline music playback.
The application can be installed via Google Play on Samsung Galaxy Watch4 and newer models. It is accessible to users in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Armenia.
