Turkmenistan prepares to take part in the EXPO 2020 in Dubai
Turkmenistan is preparing to participate in the World Expo 2020, which will be held in the capital of the United Arab Emirates under the slogan “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future”. The keynote of the exhibition is the achievement of technological progress through the unification of mankind. In connection with this, the Turkmen side will prepare an exposition that will reflect the results of the country's activities in the field of science, technology and economy coupled with the cultural peculiarities of the Turkmen people, which has a centuries-old history. The World Fair EXPO gives to participating countries an excellent chance to demonstrate the potential in various fields for attracting investments, searching for new business partners and developing cooperation in various fields of activity. At Expo 2015 in Milan which slogan sounded as “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life”, Turkmenistan became the first country to hold its national day at the exhibition, demonstrating to the numerous public achievements in the field of rational use of resources. EXPO 2020 will be held in Dubai from October 20, 2020 to April 10, 2021.
