As part of the state visit of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the Turkmen-Mongolian Business Forum was held at the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Mongolia.

The parties exchanged information on the current state of the economy, business environment and legal framework for investment in Mongolia and Turkmenistan and agreed that there are ample opportunities for cooperation in the food, agricultural, textile and knitwear sectors.

The Turkmen side organized an exhibition and sale of traditional carpets and handicrafts, and Mongolian textile factories presented their products and exchanged experience in the field of technology, design and selection of raw materials.

In addition, enterprises of the two countries held B2B meetings and discussed issues of trade, investment, implementation of joint projects and programs.

The forum was an important step for the business communities of both countries in establishing direct contacts and creating a basis for long-term cooperation.
