On June 3, a bike ride was held in Minsk, organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan together with the administration of the Belarusian State University of Physical Education, dedicated to the World Bicycle Day.

As part of the event, a bright and dynamic bike ride took place, in which students of the Belarusian State University of Physical Education, members of the National Cycling Team of the Republic of Belarus, employees of the Embassy of Turkmenistan, as well as students from various countries studying at Belarusian universities took part. The bike ride route ran along the picturesque streets of Minsk and became a real holiday for the participants, united by their love for cycling and an active lifestyle.

The starting point was marked by a ceremony with welcoming speeches by rector of the University of Physical Culture Sergey Repkin and Ambassador of Turkmenistan Nazarguly Shagulyev. Repkin emphasized the importance of World Bicycle Day and expressed gratitude to the Turkmen side for organizing this event. He noted that the development and popularization of cycling are important areas of state policy in the field of sports and health care in both Turkmenistan and Belarus.

Ambassador Shagulyev emphasized that such initiatives contribute to strengthening friendly ties between countries and demonstrate a positive perception of the initiatives of neutral Turkmenistan in the international arena.

Vladimir Kaminsky, a lecturer at the Department of Cycling at BSUPC, Olympic champion and world champion, also spoke at the event. He noted the diplomatic role of cycling as a bridge between peoples and a tool for strengthening peace and mutual understanding.

This bike ride was not only a sporting event, but also a vivid manifestation of international cooperation and youth activity, united by the idea of ​​a healthy lifestyle and friendship between peoples.
