The visit of the President of Turkmenistan to Mongolia has begun
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived in Mongolia on a state visit today, June 1. At the Ulaanbaatar International Airport, the head of Turkmenistan and his accompanying delegation were met by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Batmunkhin Battsetseg and other officials.
During the first state visit of the President of Turkmenistan to Mongolia, the parties will sign intergovernmental and interdepartmental documents that will strengthen the legal framework of bilateral relations and expand cooperation between the two countries in the fields of trade, light industry, science, education, culture and healthcare, the MONTSAME news agency reports.
A bilateral business forum, an exhibition of Turkmen handicrafts and carpets, as well as a joint trade and cultural event will be organized during the state visit.
