The International Recitation Competition "Universe of the Word" has been announced
The Organizing Committee of the IX Moscow International Arts Festival "Sounds of Dutar" named after Nury Khalmamedov has announced the start of accepting applications for the International Recitation Competition "Universe of the Word". The competition is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the International Year of Peace and Trust.
Students of educational institutions, creative groups and all interested persons are invited to take part in the competition, which will be held in person and in absentia. The purpose of the competition is to preserve the memory of the great feat, affirm universal values and foster respect for cultural heritage. Particular attention will be paid to poetic and prose works dedicated to the events of World War II and the ideals of peace.
Applications will be accepted until October 1, 2025.
The "Universe of the Word" competition is designed to actualize the importance of historical memory for future generations, rethink history lessons and promote the formation of concepts of heroism, patriotism, friendship and compassion. Participants will be divided into age categories: from preschoolers to adults (18 years and older).
