The legendary FIFA Cup will be in Ashgabat on February 7
For the first time in the framework of the traditional World Cup Tour of the FIFA World Cup, the legendary trophy will visit the countries of Central Asia. Information about this appeared on the official website of the football organization.
The Cup will arrive to the white marble capital of Turkmenistan on February 7 from Tashkent, and then continue its journey through Yerevan, Tbilisi, Baku and other cities, having visited a total of 50 countries on 6 continents.
The International Tour, held prior to the beginning of each World Cup since 2006, gives fans the opportunity to personally see one of the most famous sports awards and experience the atmosphere of the world's largest event.
Thanks to this tradition, football fans can also be photographed next to the Cup. In 2014, 1.3 million people managed to do this in 90 countries, including heads of state and famous football players.
The Football World Cup this year will be held in Russia from June 14th to July 15th.
