KAMAZ trucks of the next generation to be supplied to Turkmenistan

Sergey Kogogin, Director General of KAMAZ, said that KAMAZ trucks of the next generation will be supplied to Turkmenistan. According to the head of the company, it was reported after the meeting of President of Turkmenistan Berdimuhamedov and President of Tatarstan Minnikhanov in the Kazan Kremlin. Kogogin noted that Turkmenistan remains one of the key partners of KAMAZ and added that this year the construction of a new plant of cabs and a plant of engines is being completed. “We have developed the new powerful and reliable engines, which are based on advanced global technologies and comply with the world standards. By 2022, the old model KAMAZ trucks will be replaced by trucks of the next generation,” Kogogin said. KAMAZ is one of the oldest and most reliable partners of Turkmenistan. The trucks of this well-known Russian company is widely used in leading sectors of the national economy as well as it is used to implement large infrastructure projects in the country. Over the past 10 years, more than 9,000 units of KAMAZ trucks and special machinery have been supplied to Turkmenistan. The Turkmen market of trucks is one of the most promising for the manufacturer and the company is ready to continue cooperation in the development of the automobile industry and the country’s vehicle fleet. In 2008, the Training and Service Center KAMAZ was opened in Ashgabat, which began delivering of trucks and special machinery to the chassis, providing spare parts, warranty services and post-sale services, as well as education and training of new high-qualified Turkmen personnel. To serve KAMAZ trucks, a wide dealer network, represented in Ashgabat, Balkanabat, Mary and Turkmenabat, was established.
