The event "Magtymguly – the Sage of the World"
In the Year of "International Peace and Trust" Turkmenistan observes each day with a sense of pride in the peace and unity of the Motherland. Educators make an immense contribution to this, nurturing in the youth a love for the Fatherland and an aspiration for knowledge.
The library of Ashgabat Secondary School No. 83 with advanced study of the English language held a literary event entitled "Magtymguly – the Sage of the World". An extensive exhibition of works by Magtymguly Pyragy, books about his life, and articles was organized for the event, generating significant interest.
At the opening, the school principal, A. Orazberdiyeva, and the deputy principal, T. Atabayev, emphasized the role of Magtymguly's poetry in the education of generations. Senior students, recounting stories and reciting poems, reinforced respect for the great poet.
Under the guidance of librarian M. Bayrammamedova, students visited the Magtymguly monument at the Independence Monument. There, excerpts from the book "Magtymguly – Thinker of the World" by the Esteemed President, Hero Arkadagly Serdar, were read, and information from the book "The Pearl of History" by the National Leader, Hero Arkadag, was also utilized. The schoolchildren proudly recited poems and legends, underscoring the greatness of Magtymguly Pyragy and his indelible mark on the history of the Turkmen people.
This event served as an expression of deep gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, and the Esteemed President, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, for their efforts in the spiritual growth and prosperity of the nation.
