The XXIV International Multi-Sectoral Exhibition "White City Ashgabat" has opened in Turkmenistan
The XXIV International Multi-Sectoral Exhibition "White City Ashgabat" timed to coincide with City Day, has opened at the Expocenter of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan in the capital. The exhibition, taking place from May 24th to 25th, has gathered approximately 200 Turkmen and foreign companies showcasing their achievements in the fields of construction, architecture, design, and urban planning.
Participating in the exposition are state institutions, private enterprises, and business structures presenting innovations in the area of "green" technologies and other sectors that shape the modern appearance of Ashgabat.
As President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted in his address, the exhibition has for many years clearly demonstrated the scale of transformations that have taken place in the capital and contributes to the strengthening of international cooperation.
The solemn opening ceremony was attended by members of the Government, heads of ministries and departments, the diplomatic corps, representatives of the public and the media, as well as residents and guests of Ashgabat.
The exhibition clearly illustrates the results of the state urban development policy, covering a wide range of spheres: from construction and architecture to industry, transport, communications, finance, education, healthcare, culture, tourism, and sports.
In addition to industrial goods and applied arts, the exhibition features major "green" investment projects for the creation of environmentally friendly urban systems, energy-saving technologies, and construction projects aimed at preserving a favorable urban environment.
Automated control systems for engineering communications occupy a significant place in the exposition.
