The International Festival of Student Theatres United the Youth of Turkic Peoples
The III International Festival of Student Theatres "Tyrki Dyniyesi" concluded in Almaty, bringing together over 100 young actors, directors, and students from creative higher education institutions across six countries: Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Turkiye. The creative team of the student theatre of the Turkmen State Institute of Culture successfully represented our country at the festival and was awarded for the best female role.
The festival program includes not only performances by young actors but also master classes from renowned figures in theatrical arts. According to Sultan Raev, Secretary General of TURKSOY, this festival plays a significant role as it will provide a tremendous impetus to the professional growth of young talents. Its aim is to unite the youth of the Turkic world, who represent its future. Among the main objectives of the festival are the support, motivation, and creation of opportunities for future figures in theatrical arts.
Creative higher education institutions from the participating countries prepared both premieres and classic productions for the audience. Each presented one performance. The International Festival of Student Theatres of the Turkic World is held with the support of the International Organization of Turkic Culture TURKSOY.
