29-year-old midfielder of the Turkmen football club “Merv” and player of the national team of Turkmenistan Ilya Tamurkin signed a contract with the Kyrgyz club “Alga Bishkek”. The footballer played for FC “Merv” for 11 years, and won the Cup and the Super Cup of Turkmenistan. “When I received proposal from Alga Bishkek, I asked for advice from my friends and colleagues. As a result, the opinion of my coach and fellow Serdarali Atayev played a decisive role in decision making on my transfer,” Ilya says. His first visit to Bishkek took place in 2016, when the national teams of Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan met in a friendly match.
