Foxconn and Nvidia to unveil NuraBot: A robot for elderly care
At the Computex exhibition, Foxconn, in collaboration with Nvidia, presented NuraBot, a robot designed for medical institutions. Developed in partnership with Taichung Veterans General Hospital and Kawasaki Heavy Industries, the robot aims to assist in patient care by utilizing artificial intelligence and autonomous navigation.
NuraBot operates on Nvidia platforms, which enables it to accurately perceive its surroundings, process natural language, and adapt to the needs of patients. The system is equipped with cameras and sensors for safe movement within hospitals and can also monitor vital signs, deliver medication and food, and provide assistance with mobility.
A notable feature of the robot is its ability to learn, memorizing patients' daily routines and offering personalized support. AI-based solutions analyze data in real-time, allowing for the rapid identification of anomalies in health conditions and the prediction of needs.
