Honoured artist of Azerbaijan represents the nation at a prestigious international event in Turkmenistan
Saida Sharifaliyeva, the honoured artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan, had the privilege of representing our country at the international festival "Music of the World" held in Ashgabat.
The event was attended by renowned opera singers, virtuoso performers of classical musical instruments, as well as distinguished musical ensembles, including trios, quartets, and quintets.
The performance of Saida Sharifaliyeva, who represented Azerbaijan with great distinction, was met with considerable interest and appreciation by both the participants and the event organisers.
Her interpretation of classical music pieces vividly reflected the rich cultural heritage and musical traditions of Azerbaijan, once again underscoring the country’s significant artistic potential in the international arena.
Particularly noteworthy was her performance of works by the great composer Uzeyir Hajibeyli, whose 140th anniversary is being solemnly celebrated in Azerbaijan and all over the world, under the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. These performances resonated deeply with the audience and were received with special admiration.
"Gulchohra's aria" from Uzeyir Hajibeyli's operetta "Arshin mal alan" performed by the honoured artist Saida Sharifaliyeva and "Askar and Gulchohra’s duet" performed with the famous vocalist of Turkmenistan Mansur Sharifov were especially appreciated.
The staff of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Turkmenistan, along with their family members who attended the concert, met with Saida Sharifaliyeva at the end of the event and presented her with bouquets of flowers.
