The first 100,000 computers produced in Turkmenistan

About one hundred thousand computers have been produced in Turkmenistan. It was reported at the enlarged government session on the outcomes of the first half of 2018. It was noted at the session, that this would be a good basis for further development of programs for digitalization of the country’s economic infrastructure. Today, in Turkmenistan, priority is given to the computerization of all sectors of the country’s economy and the social life of the society, as well as to improving the computer literacy of the population. Thus, for a number of years, the state gives computers as a present to all pupils of the first classes of secondary schools of the country.
