Intra-Afghan peace negotiations are resumed in Qatar


Intra-Afghan peace talks have been resumed in the Qatari capital of Doha, Taliban official representative Mohammad Naim informed on his Twitter. According to him, working groups from the delegations of the government of Afghanistan and the Taliban will start working on the agenda of the talks on Saturday. The mass media recall that on December 12, the Doha talks participants reported that both sides had exchanged their proposals on the agenda of the peace talks. The parties also agreed to take a break and continue negotiations on January 5, 2021. After three months of discussion, the delegations agreed upon the list of procedural rules for the upcoming main part of the negotiations, consisting of 21 items, and the initial version of the agenda.
