The oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan exceeds production targets
Turkmenistan's energy sector continues to demonstrate steady growth. According to the results of January–April 2025, key enterprises in the oil and gas industry not only met but also surpassed planned indicators. This was reported by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov at a government meeting.
Specifically, the State Concern "Türkmennebit" extracted oil at 107.9% of the planned volume, and the country's oil refineries processed raw materials at 105.9%.
Growth was also noted in the main types of petroleum products: gasoline production amounted to 102.3% of the plan, diesel fuel to 100.8%, and lubricating oils to 110.4%. Particularly high results were demonstrated in the production of liquefied gas, which reached 111.7%.
Furthermore, according to the results of the four months, the extraction of natural and associated gas reached 103.5% of the established plan, which confirms the stable operation of the industry and the high level of implementation of state programs.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the achieved results indicate a balanced operation of the production complex and an increase in management efficiency in the energy sector.
