Turkmenistan to implement automated e-Visa system
The State Migration Service of Turkmenistan is commencing the establishment of an electronic visa system. To this end, a tender has been announced for the development and implementation of an automated e-Visa system that will ensure the complete digital processing of visa applications — from the submission of documents to the receipt of the issued visa.
According to information published in the official announcement in the newspaper "Neutral Turkmenistan" the new system is intended to automate the processes of submission, verification, processing, and issuance of visa documents. The implementation of this digital platform will simplify the visa application procedure for foreign citizens and enhance the operational efficiency of the migration service.
The project is being implemented within the framework of Lot No. 2, included in the tender announced by the relevant organization. Interested companies and software developers are invited to participate. Proposals can be submitted to the following address: Ashgabat city, House of Officers of the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan. The participation fee for the tender is 200 US dollars.
