Telephone conversation between the Chairman of the Khalk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan and the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran
On April 26, a telephone conversation was held between the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, Hero Arkadag and President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian. This was reported in the evening news release "Vatan" on April 26.
At the beginning of the conversation, Hero Arkadag, on his own behalf and on behalf of the Esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, expressed to the Head of the neighboring state words of deep sympathy and support for the people of Iran in connection with the explosion in the port of Bandar Abbas.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people emphasized that Turkmenistan, as a close neighbor of Iran, is ready to provide medical and all other necessary assistance to people affected by the explosion.
The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran expressed gratitude and emphasized that the National Leader of the Turkmen people was the first to voice a proposal to provide his support at this difficult moment.
During the conversation, Hero Arkadag and President Masoud Pezeshkian exchanged views on the development of bilateral cooperation, and also discussed some issues of regional and international agenda of mutual interest.
