The international forum "Chinese-style modernization and a community of Shared Future for China and Central Asian Countries" was held in Almaty
On April 16, 2025, an international forum entitled "Chinese-Style Modernization and a Community of Shared Future for China and Central Asian Countries" took place in Almaty. This event was organized by the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Almaty in collaboration with the Xinhua News Agency and the “Belt and Road” expert club.
The forum convened leading diplomats, scholars, and experts from Central Asia, who discussed successful models of Chinese modernization and their applicability to developing countries in the region.
Forum participants unanimously noted that the Chinese model of modernization could serve as an example for Central Asian countries striving for economic and social development. The Consul General of the PRC in Almaty, Ms. Jiang Wei, emphasized the importance of the upcoming second "China - Central Asia" summit, scheduled for June 2025, and expressed China's readiness to further deepen cooperation with Central Asia.
Forum participants also discussed the necessity of intensifying mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields, such as economy, culture, and education, which could contribute to the stability and development of the region.
