David Akopyan brought gold to Turkmenistan at the International Swimming Tournament in Thailand.

Swimmer of the Turkmenistan national team, David Akopyan, secured a gold medal at the international swimming competition held in Thailand from April 5th to 10th.
The 11th-grade student of secondary school No. 15 in Ashgabat became the best in the 50-meter butterfly event in the 16–18 age category, demonstrating excellent results and surpassing competitors from other countries.
It is worth noting that Akopyan trains under the guidance of Mark Pilyugin, one of the leading swimming specialists in Turkmenistan.
