A merger of related publications took place in the printed press of Turkmenistan
The structure of the printed press in Turkmenistan is undergoing an optimization stage - some specialized publications have merged, and such a merger is expected to be beneficial for the formation of their unique content. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree approving the decisions on the incorporation of the Galkynysh newspaper and the Revival magazine into the editorial office of the Vatan newspaper, which is recognized as their legal successor. At the same time, the duties of the abrogated Revival magazine are assigned to the Diyar art and publicistic magazine, which will be published in Turkmen, English and Russian. Staffs of the newspapers “Turkmen Dili” (Turkmen language) and “Mugallymlar gazeti” Teachers’ newspaper), which are in many ways similar in content, will also be integrated into one editorial office.
