The development of Turkmen-Chinese relations in the humanitarian sphere was noted
On March 28th, the Vice-President for Medical Affairs of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship, Ms. O. Atabayeva, met with the Vice-Chairperson of the Soong Ching Ling Foundation of the People's Republic of China, Ms. Shen Beili, who arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in the international conference "The Year of Peace and Trust: Development of International Activities in the Name of Children".
It was noted that, following the high humanistic principles of the Turkmen people, great attention is paid in our country to supporting children who have lost their parents and are in need of guardianship. To this end, on the initiative of the Hero Arkadag, the Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was established in March 2021. Emphasis was placed on the fact that the Foundation actively cooperates with similar structures and reputable international organizations, including UNICEF.
In this context, it was noted that there are significant prospects for establishing effective ties between the Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the Soong Ching Ling Foundation of the People's Republic of China.
The Vice-Chairperson of the Soong Ching Ling Foundation expressed support for the noble humanitarian activities of the Charitable Foundation, congratulated it on its 4th anniversary, and also expressed gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the international conference dedicated to this significant date.
