The Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty made a working visit to the city of Arkadag
On March 6, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working visit to the city of Arkadag, where he got acquainted with the work on infrastructure development and improvement, and projects for the second stage of construction.
On the way to the city, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stopped at the ring road, where he was informed about the reconstruction work of the street leading to the city of Arkadag, and presented with projects for its major renovation.
After reviewing the projects, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a number of adjustments, emphasizing the need for a harmonious combination of road elements and sculptures with the natural landscape. He proposed installing sculptures of Akhal-Teke horses along the highway, symbolizing national pride, and placing information plaques about their origin and achievements.
An important addition to the project was the instruction to create bicycle and horse paths on both sides of the highway, which emphasizes the concern for the health of citizens and the development of national traditions of equestrian sports.
The Chairman of the State Committee for Construction of the city of Arkadag, expressing the opinion of residents and horse breeders, asked Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to name the road "Ahalteke atlary" shayoly ("Road of Akhal-Teke horses").
The head of the Khalk Maslakhaty said that the proposal will be sent to the Mejlis of Turkmenistan for consideration. If approved, a corresponding document will be prepared on the instructions of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
Continuing his working visit, the National Leader of the Turkmen people held a meeting dedicated to preparations for the 4th anniversary of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation. The vice presidents of the foundation reported on the plans for the celebration, which include a scientific and practical conference, an exhibition and meetings with representatives of relevant departments.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, as the President of the foundation, emphasized the importance of carefully preparing the program of events, emphasizing the need for cooperation with relevant structures, international organizations, in particular, the UN Children's Fund.
He also noted the importance of improving legislation in the field of protecting the rights and harmonious development of children in accordance with modern requirements. In this regard, it was proposed to discuss with the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry the issue of creating new directions at the Myrat Garryev Medical University related to the protection of children's health.
Then Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov got acquainted with the progress of construction in the new city, examining samples of decorative elements for the Youth Park. Projects for social buildings and transport infrastructure facilities for the second stage of Arkadag were also presented, with special attention being paid to the medical cluster.
