Turkmenistan and UNESCO have discussed cooperation in the area of protection of historical monuments and culture, having devoted online meeting to the 25th anniversary of Turkmen neutrality. Representatives of the leading research centres of the given profile took part in the videoconference on this theme from 20 countries and Turkmen scientists - historians, archaeologists, ethnographers, linguists and others. The subjects of sections of conferences covered historical preconditions of neutrality of Turkmenistan, interaction with UNESCO in the sphere of popularisation of heritage of Turkmen people on concrete examples, cooperation development in other scientific areas connected with cultural researches.
