The regular meeting of the Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives to the statutory and other bodies of the Commonwealth of Independent States was held on February 25 in Minsk.

The meeting was attended by Secretary General of the Commonwealth Sergey Lebedev. The Permanent Representatives reviewed proposals for the draft agenda of the regular meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States, which will be held on June 5 in Dushanbe. The members of the Council of Heads of Government will be asked to review a number of documents related to economic and humanitarian cooperation, and discuss financial issues.

The presentation of the new book by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov "Magtymguly - Thinker of the World" was made at the meeting by Permanent Plenipotentiary Representative of Turkmenistan to the statutory and other bodies of the CIS, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Belarus Nazarguly Shagulyev.

The Ambassador spoke about the main message of the book "Magtymguly - Thinker of the World" ("Magtymguly - dünýäniň akyldary"), emphasizing its profound significance for strengthening cultural and diplomatic relations and ties between the Commonwealth countries. Shagulyev noted that this work describes the legacy of the Turkmen poet Magtymguly, imbued with the ideas of humanism and unity, which continue to influence the formation of common values ​​and strategies within the framework of international partnership, promoting dialogue of cultures and strengthening peace.

During the presentation, video materials on the new book by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov "Magtymguly - Thinker of the World" were shown.

It is planned that the next meeting of the Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives of the Commonwealth Member States to the statutory and other bodies of the Commonwealth will be held on March 26 together with the Commission on Economic Issues under the CIS Economic Council.
