In honor of March 8, sports competitions will be held among female teachers and students
The State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports, the Ministry of Education, the Central Council of the Women's Union, the Central Council of the Youth Organization named after Magtymguly together with the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports announced the holding of competitions in various sports among female teachers and students of the country's universities under the motto "A healthy and inspired woman is the foundation of a happy family." This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
The competitions will be held from March 3 to 7, the opening ceremony of the competitions will be held on March 3 in the multifunctional sports complex of the Institute of Physical Culture and Sports. The beginning is at 15:00. Teams of 10 representatives from universities are expected at the opening ceremony. Representatives of the participating teams are invited to a preliminary meeting in the conference hall of the main building of the Institute of Physical Culture and Sports on March 1 at 14:00.
The winners of the competition among female teachers and students will be determined based on the team standings. The program of the festive tournament includes such sports as basketball, chess, table tennis, volleyball, tennis.
The teams that take prize places will be awarded gifts and Certificates of Honor from the organizers.
