The presidents of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan will meet at the first-ever summit on March 31 in Khujand, Tajikistan, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Edil Baisalov announced this from the UN rostrum during the High-Level Segment of the 58th session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva. This was reported by the Kyrgyz National Information Agency "Kabar".

He emphasized that the summit will be an important step towards developing regional cooperation in Central Asia. Edil Baisalov announced the final agreement on the line of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border, calling this event "a historic triumph of diplomacy and political will." "We have proven that even the most difficult issues can be resolved through dialogue, mutual respect and trust," Baisalov said.
