A concert in honor of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's neutrality was held at the Astrakhan Technical University
On February 21, 2025, a concert dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Neutrality and the Day of the Native Language took place at Astrakhan State Technical University. The event was attended by the Consul of Turkmenistan, he delivered a speech about the significance of Turkmenistan’s neutral status and the importance of preserving the native language.
The university students prepared musical performances, in particular Turkmen folk songs and musical pieces that symbolize the rich culture and traditions of Turkmenistan.
A special highlight of the event was an exhibition. The exposition included works of art, elements of national Turkmen clothing, jewelry and printed materials in the Turkmen language.
As a part of the visit, the Consul also met with the university’s rector to discuss the possibilities for further cooperation in the fields of education and culture, as well as the development of bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation.
