Turkmen delegation gets acquainted with the digitalization of hospital work in Germany
During the working visit of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the newly built 500-bed International Oncology Scientific and Clinical Center in Ashgabat, a group consisting of representatives of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, the "Turkmenaragatnashyk" agency, and the University of Engineering and Technology of Turkmenistan named after Oguz Han paid a working visit to hospitals and clinics of the Federal Republic of Germany from February 3 to 15, 2025. The purpose of the visit is to study on-site the Internet, digital systems, information security, artificial intelligence and computer software necessary for the establishment of the analytical and intellectual department at the center.
During the working visit, the representatives visited the Freiburg University Hospital, RWTH Aachen University Clinic, Heidelberg University Hospital, Göttingen Hospital, Grosshadern Clinic of the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, Augsburg University Hospital and Fürstenfeldbruck Hospital.
Members of the Turkmen delegation met with medical staff, IT and intellectual and analytical departments of the hospitals and discussed issues of digital medicine. They also learned about their experience in digitizing hospital work, introducing and using artificial intelligence technologies, and organizing the work of IT departments.
