The Chinese capital's authorities have announced new measures aimed at making travel easier for foreign entrepreneurs, Xinhua reports.

These initiatives include providing special visa processing services and simplifying customs procedures. In particular, foreign businessmen who have received an appropriate invitation from companies registered in Beijing will be able to apply for a five-year multiple-entry visa with a permitted stay of up to 180 days. Applicants will be exempt from the need to submit fingerprints and personal presence when submitting documents, which will greatly simplify the process. In addition, the visa application fee will be equal to the fee for a one-year multiple-entry visa.

At “Shoudu” and “Daxing” airports, expedited border control and customs procedures will be provided for this category of persons. These measures also extend to the spouses and children of entrepreneurs, making travel more convenient for families.
