Ambassador of Turkmenistan speaks on neutrality at the Academy of Public Administration of Kazakhstan
The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Astana, Batyr Rejepov, delivered a lecture at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The lecture, attended by Academy students, undergraduates, postgraduates, faculty, including representatives of the diplomatic corps, covered a wide range of topical issues, primarily the theme of the 30th anniversary of neutrality of Turkmenistan and the International Year of Peace and Trust declared by the General Assembly.
Addressing the audience, the Ambassador noted that the evolution of Turkmenistan's neutrality has proven its compliance with the basic values and goals of the UN and has been recognized as a common heritage of the world community.
The head of the Turkmen diplomatic mission elaborated on the Turkmen-Kazakh relations, developing in an atmosphere of trust and mutual understanding on the platform of friendship, good neighborliness and strategic partnership, the foundation of which was laid by the leaders of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Ambassador focused the listeners' attention on the worldview and practical aspects of the implementation of the idea of peace and trust as a fundamental principle of the world order.
After the lecture, an interactive exchange of views with the audience took place in a "question and answer" format.
