Samsung is actively working on a new type of display and screen protector for its upcoming triple-folding smartphone, which is expected in the third quarter of 2025.

This decision is aimed at increasing the durability of the device. In addition, Samsung is developing a new type of screen protector that will help protect the screen from damage.

At the recent presentation of the Galaxy S25, it was confirmed that the new smartphone will feature a 6.49-inch external display and a 10-inch internal screen that folds out into a full-fledged tablet. Unlike other models, such as the Huawei Mate XT, the new Samsung smartphone will use a G-style folding mechanism, which will allow the display to fold inward on both sides, eliminating open areas of the screen.

Production volumes are expected to be limited, and the device will be positioned as a premium one.
