During a meeting held on February 13 in Bucharest, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan, Annamammet Annayev, and the State Secretary of the Romanian Ministry of Energy, Pavel-Kasian Nitulescu, co-chairs of the Turkmen-Romanian working commission on cooperation in the energy sector, discussed prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation.

The parties expressed satisfaction with the current level of contacts and discussed preparations for the 8th meeting of the energy working commission between the two states, which will take place in the first half of this year in Turkmenistan.

The possibilities of implementing joint projects in the oil and gas industry and the prospects for trade and economic cooperation were discussed. Romanian companies are invited to participate in international exhibitions and forums that are regularly held in Turkmenistan.
