The Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan and Mongolia discussed the preparation of high-level visits by telephone
On Friday, February 14, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, Batmunkh Battsetseg.
The diplomats discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation, with particular attention paid to the preparation of visits at the highest state level, the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reports.
It is noted that the heads of foreign affairs agencies exchanged views on strengthening the legal framework for cooperation between the two states and considered cooperation within international organizations, primarily the UN.
The first state visit of the President of Mongolia, Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, to Turkmenistan took place in October 2024.
