Since gaining independence, Turkmenistan has undergone significant transformations, with Turkish construction companies playing a key role in this process. Speaking at a press conference today, Turkish Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ahmet Demirok stated that since Turkmenistan’s independence, Turkish companies have completed over 1,000 projects with a total value exceeding $50 billion.

"We are grateful to the Government of Turkmenistan for the trust placed in our companies," said Ambassador Demirok. Turkish companies have successfully implemented major infrastructure projects, including power plants, transmission and distribution lines, highways, residential complexes, shopping centers, universities, schools, hotels, factories, canals, museums, and other facilities.

In 2024, Turkish companies secured construction contracts worth $216 million. In addition to previously launched projects, 25 ongoing projects with a total value of $4 billion are currently underway.
