The total trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Turkey in 2024 amounted to $2.166 billion. Speaking at a press conference, Turkish Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ahmet Demirok stated that both countries see significant potential for further growth in this figure.

"Our relations with Turkmenistan are built on mutual respect in all areas. As you may have noticed, this progress in our relationship is also reflected in the dynamics of our trade and economic cooperation," the Ambassador said.

He also highlighted that Turkey remains one of Turkmenistan’s largest trading partners and that the trade potential between the two countries is significantly greater.

"We anticipate that our trade will grow rapidly in the future, and we are confident that reaching a trade volume of $5 billion will be easily achievable," the Ambassador stated.
