Türkiye Burslari offers turkmen students the opportunity to study in Turkey for free
Turkey remains one of the most popular destinations for students from Turkmenistan. In the 2023-2024 academic year, more than 29,000 Turkmen citizens are studying at Turkish educational institutions, highlighting the strong academic exchange between the two countries.
As noted by the Turkish Ambassador to Turkmenistan at a press conference today, since 1992, more than 5,000 Turkmen students have participated in the Türkiye Burslari (Turkish Scholarships) program, which provides young people with the opportunity to receive a quality education in Turkey. In 2024, 45 students from Turkmenistan were awarded scholarships under this program.
The Ambassador emphasized that the Türkiye Burslari program continues to attract Turkmen youth and will do so again in 2025, just as in previous years. Applications for scholarships for the next academic year opened on January 10, 2025, and will be accepted until February 20, 2025.
