Italian designer delivers lecture at Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction
As part of the "Italian Design Days" being held in Ashgabat, Leandro Scalco, a designer from the Italian company “Modenese Gastone Interiors Srl”, delivered a lecture to students at the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction.
The guest speaker shared insights into his professional background and experience, presented video materials demonstrating his design work, and discussed the intricacies of design craftsmanship and global trends in the field. Following the lecture, students had the opportunity to ask Mr. Scalco questions of interest.
Representatives from the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction presented research and design projects carried out by faculty and students. Among these was a proposal for the construction of a new building complex for the institute in Ashgabat.
A meeting was also held at the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Italy to Turkmenistan, Luigi Ferrari, and representatives of the embassy.
