On February 11, 2025, a meeting was held at the Consulate General between Bayramgul Garabayeva, Head of the Regional Office of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Herat Province, Afghanistan, and Consul General Batyr Yolov.

During the meeting, the current state of cooperation between Afghanistan and UNFPA was discussed, and promising benchmarks were identified for the further development of bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting, the parties also highlighted the efforts of Turkmenistan and the international community aimed at the comprehensive development of Afghanistan and its integration into the global system of relations.
