The Mary Velayat Historical and Local Lore Museum is preparing to introduce a QR code system that will allow visitors to explore the region's history using modern technology. This was reported by the newspaper "Neutral Turkmenistan".

As part of the exhibition’s modernization, a complete inventory of exhibits has been conducted, with each item carefully studied and documented. Work is now underway on the virtual tour concept, which includes optimizing the route and identifying key exhibition points.

Following this, a database will be created, containing historical information, photographs, and video materials. QR codes are already enhancing the visitor experience at museums across Turkmenistan.

The State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan, the National Museum "Ak bugdaý", and museums in the city of Arkadag actively use this technology. By scanning QR codes, visitors gain access to detailed information about exhibits, making their museum visit more interactive and engaging.
