Turkmenistan-OSCE: intensification of cooperation

Turkmenistan’s cooperation with the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe dates back to 1999, when the OSCE Center began operating in Ashgabat on a permanent basis. Over the past 13 years, a result of this partnership was 349 joint targeted projects implemented within the framework of Annual Plans. 41 projects are planned to be implemented in 2020. According to 2021 Projected Plan, 37 projects are scheduled to be implemented in the political sphere, 13 projects – in the economy, 18 projects – in the humanitarian field, and in general, 68 projects are planned to be implemented in 2021. Turkmenistan, being a member of the OSCE, stands for strengthening a diversified dialogue between countries that can influence regional and global world processes and solve emerging problems. The Turkmen state plans to intensify cooperation with the OSCE. A regular meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council of member countries is plotted out in online format for December 3-4.
