Turkmenistan's geophysics specialists are contributing to the development of the fuel and energy sector
In 2024, geophysicists successfully conducted operations on 245 wells belonging to the State Concerns "Turkmengas", "Turkmennebit", and the State Corporation "Turkmengeology", as reported by the "Nebit-Gaz" newspaper of Turkmenistan's oil and gas complex.
Last year, work was carried out at the Goturdepe and Barsagelmez oil fields in the Balkan region. Blasting operations at one of the production wells of the Goturdepe field increased its productivity, and positive results were also achieved at the gas wells of the "Galkynysh" field.
In 2024, geophysicists completed work to determine the technical condition and productivity of wells in the production departments in the Mary region.
This year, geophysicists plan to conduct operations on wells at the 10 Years of Independence, Yolguyi, Vostochny, Zapadny Shatlyk gas fields, and the Dovletabad group of fields (Mary region).
This year's plans include monitoring work in production and gas exploration wells using modern geophysical equipment.
