China invites foreign journalists to cover the "Two Sessions"
China invites both domestic and foreign journalists to cover the upcoming sessions of the National People's Congress (NPC) and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), which will take place in March 2025. This was reported by Xinhua News Agency.
This annual event is an important part of the country's political life. Coverage of the sessions will be provided through various media outlets, including on-site reporting. The press center for journalists will begin operations on February 27, allowing accredited correspondents to prepare for covering the events.
The opening of the 3rd session of the 14th NPC is scheduled for March 5, while the 3rd session of the CPPCC is set for March 4. Journalists accredited in China should apply to the press center, while foreign correspondents arriving in the country must contact Chinese embassies or consulates. The deadline for submitting accreditation applications is February 18.
