Beauty and talent contest among female students start in Turkmenistan
The Central Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly, the Ministry of Education, and the Central Council of the Women's Union of Turkmenistan announce the annual beauty and talent contest among female students of higher educational institutions of the country, "Talyp gözeli – 2025", the results of which are traditionally summed up on the eve of International Women's Day. According to the terms of the event, participants will have to demonstrate knowledge of national traditions, creative potential, and labor skills.
The girls will briefly talk about the opportunities created in Turkmenistan for their comprehensive development, perform songs and poems, and stage performances. At the same time, students can speak in foreign languages if they wish. They will also compete in the speed of cutting homemade noodles for the preparation of the Turkmen national dish "unash" and show their skills in the field of traditional national handicrafts.
The first round of the competition will be held in all higher educational institutions of the country from February 3 to 24, 2025. A student who takes 1st place in the competitions at her university will receive the right to participate in the final round of the competition, which will be held in the capital on a specific day between March 1 and 7.
The participants of the competition will be evaluated by a jury consisting of cultural and art figures, as well as representatives of the competition organizers. By summing up the scores for each stage of the competition, the students who will win the Grand Prix and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places will be determined. Following the results of the competition, its winners and the most distinguished participants will be awarded certificates of honor and memorable gifts from the Central Council of the Youth Organization, the Ministry of Education, and the Central Council of the Women's Union of Turkmenistan.
