Increasing international financial rating
On January 17, at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Khojamurad Geldimyradov reported on the specific steps taken to strengthen the international financial rating and increase the authority of the Fatherland, as well as to develop cooperation with specialized structures in order to solve the problems indicated in the “Program for the Development of Foreign Economic Activities of Turkmenistan. for 2020–2025 years."
Having informed about the work done by the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs with the Fitch Ratings agency (Great Britain), the Deputy Prime Minister submitted a corresponding proposal to the President of Turkmenistan.
The head of state Serdar Berdimuhamedov has focused on the importance of further strengthening the international financial status of our country and expanding cooperation with specialized world agencies. Having approved the prepared proposal, the President of Turkmenistan instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to carry out the necessary work in this direction.
