As informs Japanese news agency Kyodo News, foreign sportsmen can take part in the international competitions or trainings during the 14-day quarantine period in the country. Ease of measures of entrance to Japan will help athletes to get prepared for the Olympic Games.
Sportsmen should pass test for COVID-19 before departure and after arrival in Japan. And in both cases there should be a negative result. It is expected that their movement in Japan will be limited by venues of competitions and trainings, and also it will be necessary for them to keep data GPS of his smart phone to facilitate the tracing of contacts.
The target group for counteraction of coronavirus, formed by representatives of the government of Japan and Organizing Committee of Tokyo-2020, was created after postponement of terms of the Games and regularly meets for development of next plans of action.
