In Ashgabat, a major overhaul of the cableway will commence

In the capital of Turkmenistan, a major overhaul of the cableway's buildings and structures will be carried out, along with landscaping of the adjacent territory.

The corresponding Decree was signed by the President of Turkmenistan. According to the document, the "Türkmenenergogurluşyk" concern of the Ministry of Energy is instructed to conclude a contract with the individual enterprise "Röwşen" for the execution of the works.

The project will start in January 2025 and is scheduled for completion in June 2026. The reconstruction aims to improve the architectural appearance of Ashgabat and create comfortable conditions for the cultural leisure of residents and guests of the capital.
