Regions report to President of Turkmenistan on cotton plan implementation
The heads of the regions of Turkmenistan reported to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on fulfilling the cotton harvesting plans. The solemn report to the head of state was presented during a videoconferencing session. The cotton growers of the country harvested more than 1.25 million tons of raw cotton. The “white” harvest campaign continues – there is still a crop in the fields, which this year has been grown more than before due to the increased cotton area. Representatives of the young generation from each region also addressed the head of state. They added a lofty mood by reading patriotic poems. Berdimuhamedov congratulated the workers of the village and all compatriots on the Harvest Festival, which marks the end of the harvest campaign. This holiday is a celebration of the labor of tenant farmers, expression of pride for their rich harvests. We will always create all conditions for the productive work of farmers so that they can ensure their well-being by reaping the benefit of their constructive labor, the President said.
