This week, Turkmenistan is expected to experience a significant drop in temperature, with some areas potentially seeing temperatures as low as -8 degrees Celsius.

According to the forecast from the meteorological service, despite the noticeable decrease in temperature in certain regions, Ashgabat will experience relatively warm winter weather. However, meteorologists do not rule out variable cloudiness. Nighttime temperatures will range from -2 to +4 degrees Celsius, while daytime temperatures will range from +4 to +14 degrees Celsius.

In the Balkan region, rain is expected during the first half of the week. Nighttime temperatures will fluctuate between -4 and +6 degrees Celsius, with daytime temperatures ranging from +6 to +14 degrees Celsius.

In the Akhal, Mary, and Lebap regions, variable cloudiness and winds of up to 16 m/s are also expected. Night temperatures will range from -6 to +6 degrees Celsius, with daytime temperatures between +3 and +16 degrees Celsius.

The most noticeable cold snap this week is forecasted in the Dashoguz region. The region is expected to experience nighttime temperatures as low as -8 degrees Celsius, with daytime temperatures ranging from -3 to +9 degrees Celsius. Precipitation is also possible during the first half of the week.
